We welcome visitors to our regular Sunday worship services at Good Shepherd. On the first (1st) and fifth (5th) Sunday of each month there is a single service at 9.30 am. Every other week two services are provided at 8.00 am and at 9.30 pm. The earlier service takes a more traditional approach in its music and liturgy, while the later service takes a more contemporary approach. Holy Communion is celebrated on a regular basis for those who believe that Jesus comes to bless and forgive us through his body and blood, given to us in bread and wine.
Lenten and Easter Services:
Visitors are welcome to attend our Lenten and Easter services each year. They begin with a special Ash Wednesday service followed by regular Wednesday night Lenten devotional services until Easter. In addition, we hold a Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter morning services.
Visitors are welcome to attend our Christmas services at Good Shepherd. The Christmas Eve service usually involves a presentation by the children of the congregation and a worship program based around lessons and carols. On Christmas Day there is one service.
God’s gift of baptism is available to all people of any age. It is God’s way of joining us to his family and showering upon us his spiritual gifts and blessings. Our pastor is happy to meet with any individuals or families to discuss the process, benefits, joys and responsibilities of being baptised. For more information contact the Church Office on 5449 8856.
